This one’s kind of obvious-sounding, but think about it. What would he have had to go through to write the descriptions for Wu like the Sapphire Dragon? What might he have missed? Maybe certain Wu have different effects, or certain things (like Mala Mala Jong) only came to light after he’d written the scroll entry.
Maybe the Shen Gong Wu scroll isn’t as reliable as it seems.

We don’t know! That was a headcanon, not a canonly stated fact. Chase being Omi’s father is a theory that someone has, and they submitted it to us, and we posted it! That’s how this blog works.
I’m not saying that Chase is a sap or anything like that, but I believe that there’s a bit of a subconscious thing going on there where he sees a bit of his old friend in Omi. Yes.
