Q: What is a headcanon?
A: A headcanon is an idea or theory a person has about a show/character that didn’t actually happen but makes sense to them.
Q: What’s an example of a headcanon?
A: A good example for Xiaolin Showdown would be that Omi is related to Grand Master Dashi. There was never anything like that stated in the show, but a lot of people believe it anyway due to their similar appearance and personalities.
Q: How do I make a headcanon?
A: Simply take an image - a screenshot or a piece of fanart you have permission to use - and paste the text of your headcanon over it using the image editing program of your choice. Try to make it easily readable by using clear, bold fonts and colors.
Q: What kind of headcanons are okay to submit?
A: Pretty much anything goes, as long as it’s PG-13 or tamer. As long as it abides by the rules, you should be fine!
Q: I don’t want to make my headcanon an image but I want to submit it anyway! What should I do?
A: Submit it as text with a note telling us that you’d like us to make it an image, and we’ll place it with a fitting image. However, if you just submit text without a note, we can’t accept it!

Q: Why hasn’t my headcanon been published?
A: Check our rules. We won’t accept any headcanons that break our rules. Otherwise, it could be a tumblr glitch or a mistake, or we could just be swamped. If your headcanon hasn’t been published after a few days and you don’t think it broke any rules, send us an ask.
